DEVELOPMENT:
The act of disclosing that which is unknown; a gradual unfolding process; advancement or growth through a series of progressive changes; also, the result of developing, or a developed state.
My work often lives at the intersection of several different kinds of unfolding and growth. Developing new work for the stage seems most compelling to me when it also includes a commitment to developing artists (youth and adults, performers, writers, thinkers), and/or developing audiences and communities.
